Introduced in 1958 by Herman Miller's then-design director, George Nelson, the Nelson Swag Leg Desk has retained its relevance over the decades. Colorful cubbies keep materials organized and at hand, and one fits a laptop computer. Two molded plastic drawers with removable organizer trays keep things tidy. A grommet at the back of the desk allows for cable management. This desk perches lightly on signature sculptural legs fashioned from 16-gauge steel, stabilized by a solid walnut stretcher.

This design is available as a swag leg desk, a work table, a round dining table or a rectangular dining table. All have adjustable glides to ensure a level work surface. Tops can be white laminate or walnut veneer with a walnut veneer edge band that coordinates with the solid walnut stretcher.
